Kuching: A total of 15 teams from sport organisations, non-government department recreation clubs, within Kuching and Samarahan Divisions taking part in the Pesta Birumuh 2009 Futsal Competition. The competition was held at Arena Sukan near the King Centre.MARR Sport Club, Piching emerged as champions while the first and second runner-ups respectively were Hospital B (Sarawak General Hospital) and Kolej Sains Kesihatan Bersekutu respectively.
Organising chairman, Charlie Ungang, on behalf of Dayak Bidayuh National Association president, Ik Pahon Joyik, gave away the prizes at the closing ceremony. The prizes consisted of trophies, medals and Nestle products sponsored by Nestle Malaysia.
